This policy explains how Shoshana Ambani Plastic Surgery handles information connected with this public website.
Health information handled as part of your care is covered separately. Please read our HIPAA Notice for information about those practices.
Information you provide
The contact page includes a general-inquiry form that collects your name, email address, optional phone number, and message so the concierge team can respond. The website sends the submission to the practice by email and does not keep a separate database of inquiry submissions.
Please do not send photographs, a detailed medical history, or other sensitive health information through the website form, ordinary email, or text. The practice can arrange a more appropriate way to collect it.
Information collected automatically
Hostinger hosts the static website. Hostinger and Cloudflare may process standard request and security information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referring page, and the time of the request. We use this information to deliver the site, maintain security, and investigate technical problems or abuse.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, to distinguish visits and sessions. Embedded services such as the Google map and Cherry payment plans widget may use their own cookies or browser storage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although an embedded feature may not work as expected.
The Google reviews display does not set cookies. Your browser requests public review text from a practice-operated service hosted by Cloudflare. That service retrieves updates from Google; your browser does not contact Google to load the review text.
How we use information
We use website traffic and technical data to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand use of the public website. We do not sell personal information or share it with another company for that company’s own marketing.
Service providers and outside links
Website hosting and email. Hostinger serves the website, processes general-inquiry form submissions, and sends notices to the practice’s Google Workspace mailbox. Google Workspace delivers and stores those emails. Hostinger and Google may keep operational and security logs according to the settings for those accounts.
DNS and security. Cloudflare provides DNS and security services for the website.
Google reviews. Public Google reviews are retrieved through a practice-operated service hosted by Cloudflare, which receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address and browser details. Google account credentials remain on the server. Selected reviews included in the website remain available if updates cannot be loaded. Following a Google review link takes you to that provider, whose privacy policy applies.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and use of public pages. Its standard implementation can collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, referring pages, pages viewed, and interactions. We do not send names, contact details, or medical information to Analytics. We have disabled advertising personalization signals and Google Signals in the site tag. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
Map. The contact page embeds a Google map. Loading the map connects your browser to Google.
Payment plans. The payment plans page embeds a Cherry widget. Any application you start is submitted to Cherry and is handled under Cherry’s own privacy terms.
Appointment booking. Booking links open an outside scheduling service. Information you enter there is handled under that service’s privacy terms.
Social media. Instagram links take you to Instagram. Instagram content is not embedded on this site.
We may disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of the practice, its staff, or others.
Embedded content
The Google map and Cherry payment plans widget work as content loaded from those providers. They can receive your IP address and browser details, use cookies or browser storage, and record how you interact with the feature. Their privacy terms govern that activity.
Data retention
The website does not keep a separate database of general-inquiry submissions. Form submissions are delivered to the practice through Google Workspace email. Public Google review updates are cached for one hour, with a last successful response retained for up to seven days during an outage. Selected fallback reviews are included in the website files. This display does not create a visitor database. Hostinger, Google Workspace, Cloudflare, Google Analytics, and embedded-service data are retained according to the provider’s terms and the settings for the relevant account.
Form messages, email, text, scheduling, and patient records are retained separately for operational, legal, and professional purposes. Patient records are handled as described in our HIPAA Notice.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You may contact the practice using the information below to ask about personal information held by the practice. We may need to confirm your identity and may need to retain records required by law.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Visitors do not need a Google account to read the reviews. No internet service is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive health information through ordinary email or text.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when the website, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect.
