This policy explains how Shoshana Ambani Plastic Surgery handles information connected with this public website.
Health information handled as part of your care is covered separately. Please read our HIPAA Notice for information about those practices.
Information you provide
This website does not have a contact or consultation form and does not store inquiry submissions. It provides links that let you book through an outside scheduling service, send an email or text message, or call the practice.
If you contact the practice by email or text, your message is handled by your communications provider and the practice’s systems. Please do not send photographs, a detailed medical history, or other sensitive health information by ordinary email or text. The practice can arrange a more appropriate way to collect it.
Information collected automatically
Hostinger hosts the static website. Hostinger and Cloudflare may process standard request and security information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referring page, and the time of the request. We use this information to deliver the site, maintain security, and investigate technical problems or abuse.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, to distinguish visits and sessions. Embedded services such as the Google map and Cherry payment plans widget may use their own cookies or browser storage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although an embedded feature may not work as expected.
The Google reviews display is part of the static website. It does not set a practice cookie or contact Google or a separate review service when the review text loads.
How we use information
We use website traffic and technical data to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand use of the public website. We do not sell personal information or share it with another company for that company’s own marketing.
Service providers and outside links
Website hosting. Hostinger serves the static site and may keep server and security logs.
DNS and security. Cloudflare provides DNS and security services for the website.
Google reviews. Selected public Google review text is included in the static website. The browser does not contact Google or a third-party reviews widget to load that text. A link to the Google Business Profile takes you to Google directly.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and use of public pages. Its standard implementation can collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, referring pages, pages viewed, and interactions. We do not send names, contact details, or medical information to Analytics. We have disabled advertising personalization signals and Google Signals in the site tag. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
Map. The contact page embeds a Google map. Loading the map connects your browser to Google.
Payment plans. The payment plans page embeds a Cherry widget. Any application you start is submitted to Cherry and is handled under Cherry’s own privacy terms.
Appointment booking. Booking links open an outside scheduling service. Information you enter there is handled under that service’s privacy terms.
Social media. Instagram links take you to Instagram. Instagram content is not embedded on this site.
We may disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of the practice, its staff, or others.
Embedded content
The Google map and Cherry payment plans widget work as content loaded from those providers. They can receive your IP address and browser details, use cookies or browser storage, and record how you interact with the feature. Their privacy terms govern that activity.
Data retention
The static website does not keep a database of contact or consultation submissions. The selected public Google review text is stored as part of the website files rather than in a visitor database. Hostinger, Cloudflare, Google Analytics, and embedded-service data are retained according to the provider’s terms and the settings for the relevant account.
Email, text, scheduling, and patient records are retained separately for operational, legal, and professional purposes. Patient records are handled as described in our HIPAA Notice.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You may contact the practice using the information below to ask about personal information held by the practice. We may need to confirm your identity and may need to retain records required by law.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through an on-site form.
Security
The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. The static reviews display does not require Google account credentials. No internet service is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive health information through ordinary email or text.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when the website, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect.
