Scar Revision
Scar revision aims to make a scar less conspicuous or improve a scar that healed poorly. It cannot erase a scar. The goal is a better scar, placed and supported as thoughtfully as the tissue allows.

What is scar revision?
Treatment depends on the scar's type, age, location, color, texture, width, and effect on movement. Options may include topical care, injections, surface treatment, or surgical revision.
Surgical revision removes or reorients scar tissue and closes the area again, creating a new scar that must mature. Dr. Ambani's reconstructive training informs how she plans tension, alignment, and closure.
