Introduction
What is liquid nitrogen cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy causes a controlled cold injury so the treated tissue can separate as the area heals. The number of treatments and healing pattern depend on the lesion and its location.
This is localized medical cryotherapy, not whole-body cryotherapy. A spot that is new, changing, bleeding, itching, or not healing may require diagnostic evaluation instead of freezing.
